It's the best tapas I've had and probably ever will. Every member of staff is incredible and the service is great! A friendly, cosy place to grab some of the best food on the royal mile.

A slice of Spain in Edinburgh. The food and drink were really authentic and a great menu. We opted for a half sized platter - great value, would def recommend. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch - helped by some great recommendations. It is small and cosy which adds to the authentic Spanish vibe. Would definitely recommend booking but we were lucky and got a table without a booking.

To say that we loved PIGGS Is a massive understatement! Went there on our first night in Edinburgh and the atmosphere was incredible and we got the half mixed platter to split and each had a big glass of wine and it was one of the most enjoyable eating experiences I've had in a long time! Loved it so much that we went back the next night and had the exact same thing. Almost certainly would have went there our last two nights in Edinburgh if our Airbnb didn't have an issue and move us out of the Royal Mile area. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Was able to get a weekday night booking here on short notice. The tapas were great and came in good sizes. Reasonably priced food and drinks, and the staff were very friendly. Rare to get this combination in the middle of touristy Old Town. My only comment is that the seats are quite packed and the music is too loud given how many people are also trying to talk.

We came for my birthday. The special menu board on the left was out of date which was a little bit confusing. Our server Miguel gave us another board with special sobrasada and croquettes. Which we ordered. We sat by the bar so we got the chance to speak to Miguel and Inga who were super friendly and made our time super enjoyable and friendly. They were busy but always checked on us which was very nice. Next time we will ask for the bar table. Great food , nice wine and lovely atmosphere. Well done.

I had a great meal here with a good glass of wine. The pulpo from Galicia was tender and had a nice char. The tortilla Espanola was done in the slightly runny style, like I prefer - soft in the middle, not overcooked. The jamon iberico was top quality, served with firm, salty olives that paired well. Everything was simple but well executed. I’d come back.

We had such a great experience at Piggs! The tapas was absolutely amazing and the place had a lovely vibe. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly, especially Nora, who was so attentive and made excellent recommendations - she really made our visit so special. Would definitely recommend this place!
